Hatha Yoga
The ultimate mind/body/spirit exercise. Classic yoga postures (asanas) combine with meditation, breathing techniques, and deep
relaxation, to increase strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. As the mind quiets and centers, a general sense of
well-being arises, and a deep appreciation for life emerges. Hatha yoga can be practiced, with great benefit, by students of
all ages, from all walks of life.
Anusara Yoga (Mixed Level & Intermediate): Anusara Yoga integrates the principles of
body awareness and structural alignment with a celebration of heart energy.
Accurate sensing of muscular action combined with visualization of natural energy flow creates a soulful, heart-centered
practice that promotes heightened awareness, lasting wellness, positive outlook, and compassion for self and others.
Students must have prior yoga experience. A previous Anusara class is helpful, though not necessary.

well-being arises, and a deep appreciation for life emerges.

anatomy, physiology, and psychology with appropriate adjustments to the traditional male-oriented practice. Women of all
ages, sizes, and backgrounds come together to develop power and strength along with flexibility and softness as we honor
the Divine Feminine in all of us.
Mixed Level Hatha Yoga: In this mixed-level class, classic yoga postures (asanas)

physical success. We will address and correct negative thinking while learning to activate the power of loving intention
for healing purposes. Liberate yourself from a life of presumed limitations and enjoy a new-found freedom!
Ishta Yoga
The Sanskrit translation for the word 'ishta' is individual or personalized. However Ishta Yoga is also an acronym that
refers to Integrated Science of Hatha Tantra and Ayurveda (ayur-life & veda-science). Therefore it incorporates physical
Asana from the Hatha practices with specific Yogic philosophy and Indian healing. Meditation, Asana, Pranayama and self
development are the important aspects of Ishta Yoga practice. It is a suitable practice for any age group, being tailored to
the individual body senses and ability of each student.
Vinyasa or Flow (Morning, Beginner's & Mixed Level)
Vinyasa, in Sanskrit, literally means "to place in a special way" or "the intelligent putting
together of things." In yoga, a
vinyasa flow indicates that asanas are practiced in a special sequence that flows with (and from) the movement of breath.
Generally speaking, all yoga "flow" classes can be considered vinyasa. This type of practice is especially well suited to
those who prefer movement to stillness. High energy types love vinyasa! While intense focus on breath calms the mind, the
continuous movement of the body through a sequence of poses, brings internal peace, culminating in deep relaxation.
Mommy & Me Yoga
Come and enjoy a special experience with your baby. Move through your own yoga poses with your baby, learning yoga sequences
designed to nurture and strengthen your post-partum body. In addition, you will learn how to use exercises and massage to
facilitate your baby’s development, including: coordination and development of nervous system; cross-patterning and unfolding;
and, soothing techniques for fussy times and infants with colic or reflux. This is also a great social opportunity for you
and your baby, as babies tend to love watching the movement and each other, and playgroups are often formed from this class.
This class is for moms and their pre-crawling infants.

Qigong
In the tradition of Chinese martial arts, Qigong mindfully aligns posture while intentionally regulating the gentle, flowing
movement of the body with the breath. A Qigong session includes a warm-up, an exercise form, and a standing meditation as a
closing. Like Yoga and Pilates, Qigong is a "core" exercise that is kind to the joints and muscles, and stretches, tones, and
relaxes the whole body
Tai Chi
Originally developed in China as a form of self-defense, tai chi is a graceful form of exercise that has existed for over 2,000
years. Tai chi, sometimes called tai chi chuan, consists of a gentle, self-paced series of postures or movements executed in a
slow, fluid manner. Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can practice tai chi and enjoy great benefits such as
increased flexibility, improved muscle strength and stamina, increased energy and an overall sense of well-being.
